• Housing in the North Quarter

In the Noorderkwartier neighborhood of Amsterdam Noord, 24 single-family homes and a duplex have been completed. VDNDP was commissioned by the contractor to prepare the documentation for the environmental permit, the sales drawings, and the detailed designs for the Technical and Construction-Ready Design phases.

VDNDP was commissioned by the contractor to prepare the documents for the environmental permit, the sales drawings and the elaboration in the Technical and Construction Ready Design phases. Five different housing types are divided into three blocks. The houses for sale have an area of 160-180 m2. All homes have a modern architecture. The large window frames are recessed into the brick facades. These facades form a mix of red and dark gray-red bricks. Vertical and horizontal masonry dressings alternate and give each house its own identity.

The facades have tall windows with French balconies to accentuate vertical lines, and the corner houses of the rows are prominent corner supports of the block.
