The role of VDNDP was to create an integral document in which the disciplines of architecture, installations and construction, as well as the (medical) inventory and third party supplies are included. The goal was to have a communication tool for the consultations with users and executing parties, for the expected integral quality and to be able to act proactively where necessary.
This project involved the new construction of the hospital in Amersfoort of no less than 100,000 m2. A large building where the functional design ensures that patients and visitors can find their way around excellently. It is not only a large but also a beautiful and modern building with furnished single rooms equipped with private bathroom and sanitary facilities. This gives patients the peace, space and privacy they need.
VDNDP's role was to create an integral document that included the disciplines of architecture, installations and construction, as well as (medical) inventory and third-party supplies.
The purpose of this space book was to have a communication tool for the consultations with users and executing parties, for the benefit of the expected integral quality and where necessary to be able to act proactively regarding identified bottlenecks.
In the space book, approximately 250 representative spaces (typologies) were fully worked out. From a 3D coordination model, 3D images, floor plans, ceiling and wall views were generated. The coordination model was created by merging all available 2D and 3D drawing work from the parties. Missing or not modeled parts were thereby added for VDNDP.
