On the site of the former technical school at the Ludgerstraat in Aalten, De Woonplaats , together with the municipality of Aalten, is preparing new housing construction. VDNDP made the design. Construction will be handled by Dura Vermeer Bouw Hengelo B.V..
VDNDP made the design for a total of 57 houses consisting of 21 apartments, 7 houses of 1 layer with roof, 16 houses of 1 layer with flat roof and 12 courtyard houses (also 1 layer with flat roof). Together with other parties, the design was further developed into a building model, drawings and various documents, with which the environmental permit was obtained. Currently, the BIM models and documents are being prepared for execution.
