Lorentz Phase 2, the last of 3 towers on a plinth, is a flexible and sustainable office concept based on the "new way of working," with accompanying amenities such as hospitality. An office as a meeting place at a distinguished public transport hub, in the midst of liveliness and culture. VDNDP is further developing the plan for Bouw21 , together with the team.
Next to our Octagon project, a third tower (phase 2) with a flexible and sustainable office concept based on the "new way of working", with accompanying facilities such as catering, will be built on Lorentz K5 lot. The plan is by ABC planontwikkeling. An office as a meeting place at a distinguished public transport hub, in the midst of liveliness and culture. The architect is Neutelings Riedijk Architecten. Lorentz connects the historic center of Leiden with the new developments in the station area, creating an attractive urban space and a dignified entrance to the city. The building consists of a plinth with three softly shining towers of different height and color on top. Two towers (phase 1) consist of apartments. The third tower (phase 2) is for office space and meets the demand for flexible workspace. Thus, the tower contributes to the metamorphosis of the Leiden station area into a vibrant place where living, working, traveling and staying come together in a pleasant way. In collaboration with partners, one of the options being explored is whether a PowerNest can be realized on the roof, generating solar and wind energy. Lorentz Leiden thus perfectly matches the ambition to make the Leiden station area the most sustainable kilometer in the Netherlands. VDNDP is further developing the plan for Bouw21 , together with the team.
