VDNDP's first ever project was the renovation of the Ministry of Defense complex at Kalvermarkt in The Hague. VDNDP was involved in this project from the structural design stage and was responsible for project management, specifications and technical elaboration throughout the design and implementation phases.
The complex consists of three building sections, which were given a common interior area by the addition of the "deck roof" at ground level. In addition to the Building engineer interventions and total renovation of the buildings, the task revolved around the integration of complex installations and the entire interior.
