• Brammelerdwarsstraat

Thirty-six loft-style residences are being built right in the heart of Enschede. By varying in size and scale, the building serves as a spatial link between the different entities. VDNDP has been involved in the design development since the preliminary design phase.

    About the Brammelerdwarsstraat in Enschede

Right in the center of Enschede will be 36 loft-like dwellings. The building forms a spatial link between the different entities by varying in size and scale. Programmatically, it provides a new typology for Enschede. In the interstices, interesting living spaces are created with a continuous green connection between the inner garden, the square and façade gardens. A task that is larger than just the building. It is precisely the connection between the existing cultural-historical environment and the various new elements that creates a stratification and thus adds value to the area. This requires an integral approach and cooperation of the various parties. VDNDP is involved in the development of the design from the VO.
