Residence van Oranje is a special project located on the Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk. It comprises 70 ultra high-end apartments and penthouses with sea views, combined with several five-star plus hotel suites belonging to the Hotel van Oranje. VDNDP has developed the original design by Van Egmond architects into pieces with which the building permit has been applied for.
Residence van Oranje includes 70 ultra high-end apartments and penthouses with sea views, combined with several five-star plus hotel suites belonging to the Hotel van Oranje. These are divided into two six-story residential towers, landing on a commercial plinth that will provide space for a restaurant and other hotel facilities. All this will soon be set in a co-designed landscape that matches the building in terms of luxury.
VDNDP was commissioned by BOMO II to develop the original design by Van Egmond architects into pieces with which the building permit was applied for. In this process, part of the building was redesigned, apartments were rearranged / partly converted to hotel suites and optimizations were thought out and implemented. In cooperation with the project's structural engineer (WSP), a 3D BIM model was set up to serve as a foundation for the structural engineering and generate the necessary drawing work for the application.
At the end of January 2023, the building permit became irrevocable, rewarding the hard work on this beautiful project.
