Buiksloterham was an industrial business park in Amsterdam North. Commissioned by Ymere, this site was transformed into a circular urban district focused on living and working. VDNDP took on the Building engineer elaboration of the project.
For this project 'De Goudvink' on Buiksloterham Lot 4a, a number of business units and 93 social rental apartments were built, spread over eight floors. Together with the engineering team, an integral technical 3D BIM model was created in the DO. All principle details were discussed and analyzed in consultation with the work preparation team. Thus the detailing was feasible, buildable and above all in line with the desired aesthetics.
VDNDP also made a technical description in the STABU system and rental plans.
After completion, we transferred the ASBUILT model, equipped with specific data needed for management and maintenance, to Ymere.
The project was included in the Yearbook Architecture in the Netherlands 2022 / 2023.
